A hybrid heat sink design has been applied in the TOMI LED1.2W sources (a thermoplastic layer + an aluminium cartridge), so that heat exchange with the environment is much more efficient than in glass fixtures. In addition, the white colour of this product and its matte shade make it an interesting design and a very practical lighting solution.

These sources enable the illumination of a much larger area than conventional halogen bulbs as they have a much larger angle of light emission, which is uniformly distributed thanks to the use of a matte shade.
